Channel your inner geek at Questacon, where there’s no shortage of weird and wonderful spaces to get curious, discover and play! Experiment, invent and innovate and you'll uncover the smarter way to have fun. Young scientists will enjoy Mini Q as they play and learn in a gallery specifically designed for 0-6 year olds. Explore hands-on science exhibits, test gravity by falling down a six metre tall slide, experience the power and beauty of our awesome Earth and no visit to Questacon is complete without watching one of the Spectacular Science Shows. With over 200 engaging and interactive exhibits to explore, Questacon will inspire you to learn more.

Canberra’s National Zoo and Aquarium features a combined aquarium, metropolitan zoo and easily walked open-range section, as well as amazing up-close and personal animal encounters and tours.
With the now recently opened Adventureland playground, a truly unique playground featuring a total of 55 activities including various sized fibreglass animal sculptures for children aged 2-12 to explore and play on. There's also the Extinction Trail where families can wander through life size dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals.
